Okay, I'm running a PII 233 with an AOpen AX6LC MotherBoard. This system has a history of USB problems. But now the USB is disabled. And all of a sudden it freezes up at add new hardware during startup. I am try to install Intel INF updates in safe mode and then boot to normat Win mode so it adds all that good stuff, but that doesn't work. It did freez up while Norton AutoProtect was starting up, but I went into safe mode and removed NAV and now it stop on Add New Hardware. I'm running Spin Rite on it at the moment, but I dont think that'll help it. and ideas, is there some files that may be flaky, or wrong versions of some dll's??? Thanks!!
