[RESOLVED] M590 Motherboard

Hello all,
I have a PC Chips M590 m/b with 8 meg onboard AGP and sound and 32 meg ram. Problem is getting color above 16 colors and resolution above 640-480. I have installed the latest drivers for the 6236 8 meg AGP and the IDE and IRQ routing. Using windows 98 with updates. I attempt to change the color or resolution it begins to re-start windows and then the screen changes like it will start then nothing. The HD even stops and nothing happens and I have to re-boot and it goes into safe mode and go into settings and video and hit apply because it defaults to 16 colors and 640-480. Please help.

Hope This will help some.
There is 2 drivers. One is the 6236 Pci
and the other is 6236 AGP.
Just check and make sure your using the one for the AGP.

How can ya tell which one is being used? I mean I downloaded the latest driver and can not tell which is which.. thanks for help..
