Attach function

A user was setup to access a networked drive using attach.I ran the attach command again to reconnect and it said that it was already connected but this was not visible,so I disconnected it and now I can't run attach again,would net use be apporpriate??????????

Attach is a Novell-command... so you can't do the same with a net use as this is for MS-networking...

Probably you have logged out of Novell (and not detached the drive - or it was the drive with the commands-path) so the command attach wasn't accessible anymore...

Check your logon-procedure and tell more about this and your network...
... and it would have been better to post this topic to Novell or Networking
