I have a user who purchased a Lexmark Optra 45 color printer. It resembles an HP DeskJet. It has been working fine for the last few weeks. Last week, the user purchased a 2nd paper tray, which connected in the back of the printer. We identifed the 2nd tray in the printer's control panel, and configured it for transparencies. When I go to the printer's properties under NT, it doesn't recognize the 2nd tray. There is a button labeled "Update Properties", but when I click on it, it says that bi-directional communication failed. I connected the printer to a Windows 95 workstation and installed the drivers - when I click on "Update properties", it goes out and talks to the printer and comes back to tell me that I have a 2nd paper tray installed that is configured for transparencies. Does anyone know how I can get NT to recognize the 2nd tray, without installing a network card?
Thanks.
Thanks.
