yamaha 719 isa sound card

need to install sound card in compaq deskpro running nt ws 4.0 1381 have tried yamaha 719 loads but won't sound off, open to suggestions

did you try installing the pnpisa.inf on NT cd to enable PNP?

is that on the workstation cd or some other nt cd

workstation under drvlib, pnpisa, x86 (right-click on pnpisa.inf file, install)... or on sp3 cd also...I know you need to install it for SB sound cards to install properly, and sometimes you may have to toggle on and off PNP OS in the cmos so NT can autodetect the sound card (also works for other pnp cards)
