I have downloaded and installed the latest drivers for my modem from Diamond according to their instructions. And reapplied SP4. When I boot into NT I get an error message stating that RAS services were not started. I cannot even use the modem with HyperTerminal. This modem works perfectly with win98 yet, NT refuses to configure the modem as anything other than a Unimodem.
How do I get NT to use the modem properly?
My system info is: PII 350,440BX,96Mb ram, Monster Fusion 16Mb AGP, Monster 3DII 12Mb, SBPCI128(sound card), Epson stlyus color 740, Microtek C-3 scanner, Supra 56i Voice, internal zip, mitsumi cr2801te, 6.5Gb seagate, 2.5Gb WD.
It is a dual boot system. I am adding a LAN card this weekend to connect to my second computer.
I have spent 3 days fighting with this problem and am about ready to trash NT but I need it for my MCSE course.
