I need desperate help. A machine with nt4 and Win95 was installed. Some software issues were arised about working with NT so a techies did a SYS C: and now Win95 boots up automatically. (I DON'T KNOW WHY SHE DID THIS, SHE JUST DID!!). So now I can't do a RDISK because the boot loader doesn't load.

Does anybody know how to activate the bootloader so I don't have to re-install NT? I have all the SPs installed and if I boot up with the boot disks I can repair but only from the CD and it has SP1. And I know for a fact that my EXPLORER.EXE will cause a DR.WATSON and then my machine has hung.

Any answers too this would be greatly appreciated.

thanx,

Try boot from setup disks or CD, run the repair setup and don't repair the registry or system files, just the boot sector\startup envir. files, it gives you the choices...I would still reinstall sp4 tho when done just in case
