The retail version of Disk manager from Ontrack systems at http://www.ontrack.com
will work with all hard drives, but it is not free. And I think Microhouse has quit supporting EZ drive, there is not much info about it anymore on their website, and I see Western digital is using new drive overlay software called Data Lifeguard

On another msg board I read that Maxtors drive overlay will work on non-maxtor hdd, but I havent tried it. If you feel adventurous its called MaxBlast version 9.
Dont have the url off hand.
I think they are virtually all the same programs...but I wouldnt do it unless there were no other options

E-Z Drive does work on other hard drives besides western digitals.
i have succesfully used it on seagates as well as quantums so there is no problem with using it

Mustang is right about that. EZ-Drive works mostly on all the different company's product.

Well what make is your drive , just go to their site and you can download their version of disk manager or ez drive, if your bios supports your drives full capacity then dont use the drive overlay I find it buggy
I have downloaded a feww diferent versions of disk manager from diferent drive manufacturers sites and it is th same program but designed to work with only thier drives so if You have a Quantum drive go to www.quantum.com (http://www.quantum.com) and you can get the ddisk manager there
