My company has been buying Appian video cards for dual monitor support, I suggested that we look into dual video cards as we are paying 600 dollars each for these cards and all they are is a 4 mb S3 chip. The question:

What do I have to do to get dual video cards to work in NT.Do I have to buy a certain card ? Or am I just completely misinformed.
TIA

Well unfortunetly NT doesn't really let ya use Dual video cards. it just doesn't have the support. you can either get the G400 for about 300 with a kickass 3D graphics chip. Or just switch to 98 which DOES have dual video card capabilities. However if you DO switch to 98 be sure to double check if your motherboard will support this, some of the older generation boards and a scant few of the newer ones have problems with using more then one Video card as the BIOS disables one of them.

WinNT does support dual video. I've seen to many machines running dual video in NT 4.0. People who use CAD and other graphics application use dual video all the time in NT server and Workstation. The matrox is a good card.
