That's like 600 bucks american or something..
If you can put together a system for that price.. What components would you use?

I was thinking of an Asus A7 730S for about $200 ... 20 GB Hard drive for $150
32MB video card AGP $200
Big Case $75 bucks..
800 MHZ AMD T.. $180

That's just an example.

Our store sells new and refurbished systems in that price range, typically Duron/Celeron 700-850, 128 MB RAM, 20 GB drive, other details depending on what the customer wants... it's hard to squash it under 1000 with a monitor and good stuff in the system, but there are always things that can be done, i.e. customer A has stuff he wants to trade in, customer B has some parts already, customer C doesn't want an operating system because they intend to pirate, customer D doesn't want one because they intend to use Linux...

(If you are actually looking for a quote PM me and I'll put one together using whatever details you provide.)

I find the best thing to do is to go to NCIX.com, and if they don't have the best online prices in Canada, you can get them to pricematch from almost any other Canadian site. I'm savin some good $$ buying like this. Check out a-power.com shop.pccanada.com www.atic.ca (http://www.atic.ca) www.jigsawcomputers.com (http://www.jigsawcomputers.com) and I can't think of any more sites.
