Great CPU Heat Sink Removal Tool

I wish I could take credit for this one, but our heatsink supplier (Ascent www.ascentusa.com (http://www.ascentusa.com) ) sent some of these to us free. They are made by Kobalt Tools and called a tack claw. They look like a minature pry bar attached to a screw driver handle. Price $3.98 on Lowes' website here is the link:

Most hardware stores carry these, they are very convenient for pulling nails and staples and things like that as well.

if you have a screwdriver with change-able tips try using it without any bits in the end you can use the rim to hook on the clip also if you do slip theres alot less damage you can do with a big round end

Someone in Production here modified a screwdriver so they could remove the heatsinks easily (Stupidly designed Intel boxed heatsinks!) This would be a great tool to have. I seem to recall seeing them at Home Depot. Just gotta make sure it's demagnetized.
