If you do a lot of installs, here's a bootdisk, complete with fdisk (if needed), to run an unattended win98 install.
A couple of things need to be edited, so please read the readme.
Download at http://rebootjim.multimania.com/bootdisk.zip
Explanations of all the switches inside the .inf file are here. (http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/TechNet/prodtechnol/win98/reskit/part7/wrkappd.asp)

Nice disk - It will only take a couple seconds to config for different pc setups. I have a home system to redo with a lot of devices in it, going to see if it works unattended (crosses fingers)

done that. only came to one hiccup (haven't looked at the referred page yet) is that it still want you to accept the license agreement, and go past the next two screens (key code and finish)
the key code is already there, so it is referring to the inf...
Nice thing is that you can set your networking properties up before hand.
I ahve created login scripts for a username of "sysbuild" that will install all the applications in sequence, rebooting as needed.
novell client 3.3, office 2k pro, office 2k sr1a, OBDC update, msi installer update, NavCE 7.5 client; in house application shortcuts and registry enteries (proxy server, personal folders, ect.)
from start to finish, I can have a computer formatted and back out to the users desk in under 1.5hrs.
All I need to do now is hook the computer up, us my killer boot disk (novell 5, multi-nic (supports 90x, 5x9, intel pro x, compaq neteligent or netflex) login with sysbuild, and start the bat file that runs fdsik /mbr; format c: /q/s/autotest; and starts copying the cab files and novell client setup files to the c drive. also copies an autoexec.bat that starts another bat file in the cabfile directory (which in turn deletes the autoexec.bat)
sometimes I am just DAMN good
