My customer the comedian

Had a guy come into the shop today and say his cup holder was broken! The guy almost fell over he was laughing so hard! I guess he was the one that invented that line, and was very proud of himself. He told my boss that I must be crabby because I did not laugh. Ever have one of these comedians?

Yeah, I just had a phone call from a customer, he wants me to format his hard drive, load 98 (in chinese), office 2000, and some others stuff in a half an hour.
We seem to get a lot of requests like that lately. Must be to much rum in the eggnog, if there is such a thing.

I like the ones who come in and try to tell you stories about how "dumb" everybody else is. You know, "Hey my brother was trying to delete a virus and he formatted the whole drive by mistake!"

I love the people who don't know anything, but try to talk like they do, especailly in front of there wives!...That's when I throw in a little line like, "Well actually sir, you couldn't be further from the truth. What you meant to say is................"

That usually deflates there big ego real quick!

If they look offended, I explain to them that nobody knows everything, and even though I have been doing this for over 10 years, I still consider myself a novice!!

My friends do that to me sometimes. Pisses me off. I'll be at their house hangin' out, and they'll be like "Hey, look at my computer, it's not working." and they've intentionally unplugged some vital thing, like the monitor, or they tell me the internet isn't working and they've intentionally unplugged the phone line.
