What makes you happy? Name the first thing that come to your mind!!

Mine are my son's smile, good music, sun on my face on a cool spring day morning, watching my wife & son sleep.

Those were the first I thought of.

Sitting in a boat with my family, in the middle of the lake, catching some rays (and a few drinks and fish of course!).

Edit at 13:18:
What would make me really happy, would be going to give a certain man in the U.S. a smack in the forehead!!! (read rant in lounge for clarification)

Laughter, good wine (Chateu Neuf-du-pape is a favourite), my girlfriend's smile, the sun setting behind the hills that I can see from the window now and making the river look like it's on fire, my friends.

Not working would be another good one. Oh, and being given a 2:1 or above for my degree would be another

depends where I am.

If at work: the sound of someones heart stopping when you tell them how much it will cost to fix the problems their son's friendwhoknowsalotaboutcomputers caused.

If at home: hearing my fiancee's voice

Silence, no patter of tiny, but loud feet, no washing machine or tumble drier.. a candle burning while I choose the music to break the silence with.

Humor (see Robin Williams aka genious)
Intellectual art (see David Lynch)

Cognitive psychology (see the MIT Encylopedia of Cognitive Thought)

Horsepower (see my 800hp 2001 Camaro (horsepower falls under the category of excitement which could fill this page))

..and a bunch of other **** . Who can list it all?

In a nutshell, anything that turns the wheels in my head without busting in on the rights of others... very zen ey?

On the other hand, sometimes we need a certain level of stimulus to make us think.

So Futch You.

...I have to admit that there were two things that immediately came to my mind. The first was skeet shooting... something I was very good at when I was a kid and the second was this

At 16 I was a state champ in skeet... and at 17 the bike was like my brother. There exist no words to describe the depth of what I feel. I guess that's what they mean by the blade cutting both ways. Understanding only comes with age and loss.

heh, what's that old asian saying? May you live an interesting life?

Watching a good, well-meaning anime (Trigun, DBZ, Gundam Wing, Tenchi, Shinesmen, etc), playing a decent old-school video game, the thought of someday having a girlfriend who loves me, listening to excellent music, rainy days, going outside in rainy days lol.

I would say life in general makes me happy, going to work seeing my friends, at one of my jobs the company strives for "employies to have a best friend at work" I have many. So I guess my friends are what make me happy!

Right now, I'm a couple of days of finishing uni. Then I'm off home for a few days, then going for a wander around in the Peak District for a few days by myself, just to get my head sorted and find the inner peace I seem to have lost.

Giving my g/f a backrub (and other spots as well, if we're in that mood) and the loving smile I get in return

OK, now that I'm done with the mushy stuff....
Ripping through the hill country on my Moto Guzzi or my Sebring coupe (manual tranny, I gotta have one for real driving)

Remembering when I tickle my dog, she almost has a human laugh!

Remembering funny movies or funny moments.

Act crazy with bad impersonations of actors, politicians, cartoon characters or anything else.
