A lady called up technical support and said that she had bought a computer a few weeks back. She said that she was experiencing some problems with the monitor or computer. After he, the technical rep. gathered some basic information about the computer, he asked, "what appears to be the problem?"

She said, "Nothing comes up on the monitor."
The tech asked her to check all the connections on the cables in case they had come loose. For a while, he led her through the video, computer, and power connectors for . He also asked if the power switch to the monitor and computer were switched on. She told him all the switches were already on. In addition, he asked her to check the power switch on the surge suppressor, if she had one. While she was continuing to check all the connections, she explained that it was kinda hard to see all the cables since her apartment building had lost power about 20 minutes ago.

Abruptly, and in a sarcastic way, he told her to stop what she was doing. He said, "Oh boy, we've got a problem!"

"What, What's the matter?" she said.

The tech said, "You need to pack up your entire computer and bring it back in to us."

She asked, "Why?"

He said, "BECAUSE YOU'RE TOO STUPID TO OWN A COMPUTER!"
