Had a customer call me back after purchasing a CPU fan after his was making too much noise. He insisted on doing the work himself, as he didn't want to bring his PC into the workshop. About an hour later, recieved a call, "I am following the instructions on the side of the box and I can't seem to be able to get it to stay there", after explaining in detail on placing the side down, noting where the notch is an aligning it properly to catch on the hooks on the CPU bed. Fortune wasn't on his side, and he had invertantly snaped the holding lug off one side. The machine came into our store, and to his dismay we confirmed, yes it was broken. We didn't have any glue to stick the heatsink to the CPU, so we suggested he may want to try an electronics store. Being a Saturday and not many places open, he rang back a few hours later and asked what to do. I know it is a bit rude, but I said "Get a life, if you haven't figured things out by now, there are some things you just shouldn't attempt"
