Getting ready to head up to check out the strip clubs in West Virginia with my boss, then I've got to be up at 7:30 tomorrow for a cabling job. Probably get sloshed tomorrow afternoon, then go to a rave tomorrow night. Sunday I'm going to a computer show up in Chantilly, then stopping at Hooters in Manassas for dinner. Except for the computer shart part, that's my average weekend in a nutshell.

Every Saurday, Counter-Strike LAN party. Nothing like shooting friends and family to blow off steam after a stressful week of customers.

Every Sunday, clean up after LAN party, then relax, surf the web, read the news and sleep.

I wake up very early on weekends. I hate to waste my free time. I went in to work this morning at 6:00 even though I'm not scheduled to finish a customer's computer I promised for Saturday. After that, back home for eggs and bacon w/the wife and kids. Then off to take my CDL test so I can get a job that don't involve computers.

The rest of my weekend is spent with my family of 5....they are what keeps me out of trouble!!!

WHERE DO YOU WANT TO GO TODAY?......Not that it matters, because Micrsoft will crash on the way there!!!

AlienDyne, I too am a huge F1 fan, and an even bigger Ferrari fan. Therefore I like to see Schumi win. Is this the case with you or are you a Shumi fan only?

Yes, MAYHEM I'm a Ferrari fan too.
In fact, I love F1. I used to watch F1 GPs since the early '80s. When Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna used to win almost every single race.
I was just a kid, but this sport charmed me.
Indianapolis GP is coming next Sunday.
Hope Schumi will win this year's world championship...

My typical weekend is doing assignments for school (full-time job + full-time school = no life). Of course, I always have time for a little NFL on Sunday and a few good mp3 downloads and CD burns to get me through the next week. My husband's been good enough to spare me the housecleaning and yard mowing lately.

Thrill a minute, eh?

Time off? Weekends? You mean there are such things? Being self-employed usually means that time off is when and where you make it. A nice cold beer at 7am Monday is good enough for me. Other than that, it's all work and no play.
Geez, now that it's in print it seems like a terrible waste of life.

I'm an audiophile. I just bought a Rega Plantar 3, a great turntable. I'm always listening to music, so dammit, I bought one! Listening to an MFSL copy of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon" cranked up with coffee and a book - - wonderful.

On a sunny day, the beach is a walk away. I live on Cape Cod. Gloat, gloat.

Weeknds change. Here's what I did this weekend:
Friday I evening my wife and I went sailing with some friends who have a sailboat. (It gets pretty darned cold when the sun sets. Dark too. Not a lot of wind either. Kind of eerie. I'd only been sailing with him once before, and that time we got stuck in the middle of the lake with no wind... in the rain.)
Then my wife and I went drinking at his place. Last time we both passed out on the floor so I did not drink much this time.
Saturday I got up at 7:00'ish. My wife went out shopping with her mom. I used the free time to *finally* network our computers and set up Internet Connection Sharing. I also mowed the front & back yards, did a little fishing in my pond (two bass strikes, but I didn't land them), and played with my puppies.
On Sunday I got up at 11:30am, bought junk at Wal-Mart, and painted the dog house I had built two weeks ago. After that my wife and I went to her parent's house for dinner. My wife is a vegitatian, so I like it when he mother cooks because I get to chew on dead animal. Mmmmmmmm!
When we got home that evening I trimmed the bushes in the yard. I cut through a juniper with an electric hedge-clipper and cut open what looked like a pine cone. Then dozens of wasps started pouring out of it. I ran into the house, but oddly enough the wasps were pretty calm. I think the cool evening air had some effect on them. Anyway, I sprayed them with Raid and continued trimming the bushes.

That was my weekend.
Oh yeah! One more thing worth mentioning...

I watched a documentary on dangerous bugs (scorpions, black widows, disease-carrying mosquitos, etc.) on Saturday, and Saturday night I stopped in my track on the way to bed because I thought 'What if there's a scorpoin on the floor?' I laughed at my TV-induced paranoia and continued to bed.
Sunday night my wife called me into the bedroom. She found a scorpion on the floor, in the same spot I had stopped the night before. Weird coincidence, eh?

I'd heard in an email chain-letter than scorpions will sting themselves to death if you pour alcohol on them. I tried vodka with mine... didn't work. So I put some Jack Daniel's mustard on... nothing. So I washed it and stuck it back in the vodka cup... BINGO! The little bugger kept stinging himself in the head.

Gaw... I have no life.

Well, the weekend's already happened, so here we go:

Friday: Go out on blind date with gorgeous woman. I haven't dated in as long as I can remember. I act like a goon, spoil everything.

Saturday: Feeling sorry for me, my buddy invites me to try again on a double-date this time. I don't drink. We go to a brewery. I act like a goon again because I don't have anything to do.

Sunday: Sleep until noon, feel sorry for myself, download the new Radiohead album.

I sing and play guitar, and I have A WARDROBE FULL OF FIRE!
