First, i was upgrading my bios on my Tyan Tomcat IV (dual processor intel 233mmx) so i could use my new LS120 drive. 1) forgot the updated file name so i tried to wing it. $80 new cmos chip;
Second, a customer wanted a new 10gb harddrive installed. I hooked it up. Since his existing harddrive had 2 partitions on it already i formatted the E: drive, only to find out that it was the D: drive that was the new harddrive. Still trying to figure out why it doesnt name them in seqential order;
Third, all i need to say: screw fell from harddrive mount, down on memory chip while running;
Fourth, forgot the computer was off when i pulled the 56K modem that was being used out;
Fifth, forgot to screw in a network card, didnt realize why it was acting funny (it wasnt getting grounded);
Sixth, back in the old 486 days, repairing my brothers computer, pulled the turbo switch wires off the motherboard, noticed they were electrical taped together from where we bought the computer at, tried to put them back on so since they were separated and i forgot how the went on there, i just started putting them here and there on the motherboard, until it shorted out;
well thats all i can think of
if you want to hire me email me
