how do you put anew fan in a slot1 550mzh cpu

SECC2 OEM slot1 heatsink fan combos have a clip on the back, it takes a little fudging around to get them off but they do come off. Sometimes a small flat plastic knife under one corner to pry it up and it will pop it off. putting a new heatsink fan on is easy once you get the old one off.

A small knife or a screwdriver will do fine.
Don't open the CPU box. Just pull out the fan.

Don't forget the thermal compound! Arctic silver is good. Just a very small amount on the core of the CPU is sufficient.
