Does anybody know where I can find a VERY GOOD socket 7 CPU cooler??

I have a AMD K6-2 333 (100MHz) that's running around 49-50 C all the time. I installed 2 case fans (1 pushin, 1 pushout) but that didn't make a difference. I've also tried several different coolers with no luck.

System: DFI P5BV3+ (Rev A) MoBo, AMD K6-2 333, 64 SDRAM (8ns), ATI RAGE II (4mb), Voodoo2 12 MB, 8.4GB HDD.

I just put together a system for a friend using Aopen AX59Pro MoBo with AMD K6-2 450 CPU, and his temp never goes higher than 42-43 after playing heavy 3D games.

Anybody know of a good cooler?? Help!

3dfxcool.com may have a solution for you. I've purchased multiple items from, they seem reliable and the items are of good quality (and usually in stock).

I would stay away from the "cooler master"
brand, have had a lot fail on me

I would recommend the FA6EXB Cool-it Dude! cooler from Computer Nerd. It has a double ball-bearing fan and costs about $15.95. I bought one and both the fan and heatsink are VERY big. The fan's cfm rating is at least twice of that of normal socket 7 fans and comes with a five year warranty.
