I currently have a PII400 w/Intel SE440BX MLB / 64MB RAM / 10 GIG MAXTOR HD. When trying to install WinNT 4.0 WkStation from floppy or CD-ROM, it allows me to install the setup files, correctly identifies the devices attached to my PC, and when it's time to reboot to continue set-up in the GUI, the system craps out and states "...inacessable_boot_device..." . I've installed NT on this same unit using a 3.5 Gig HD with no problems. I'm not using any BIOS overlay software or anything and have thoroughly tested the HD several times for defects using Troubleshooter, Scandisk, & PC Doctor. Is there something I'm missing here? Any/all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
