I am helping some friends who just inherited a 486 DX4-100. It has a controller card with no apparent name on it. The card uses VLB and has integrated LPT and COM ports - also has a game controller connection along with the 2 IDE and 1 floppy connectors. It uses UMC chipset #'s UM82C863F and UM82C865F. On the card it lists "QD6580 Card V2.0 4/1994". There is also a chip I've never seen before that says "Vision" with the same "QD6580" on it. I need drivers for it. Windows loaded drivers for it but it freezes when I try to load anything from the cd rom. Help! http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smilies/cwm44.gif P.S. Using Win95B because system doesn't have enough memory to run 98.

Thanks Neuro, but no luck. That page lists DOS and 3.1 drivers and I need updated drivers for 95. I am able to read the contents of the CDrom with the drivers windows supplies, but I can't load any programs or transfer large amounts of data. It's a 4x Cdrom and I had an old 2x laying around that I tried with the same results.
Any other options? http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smilies/cwm31.gif

THanks again for the help but still no luck. The first link points to the dos/3.1 drivers but no win95. The 2nd one just makes me go the long way to get where the 3rd one takes me (QDI's homepage). And you're right, QDI's homepage is worthless - no legacy support at all. If you find anything else, let me know. http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smilies/cwm31.gif
