More Cd-Creator 5 problems!!!!!

Hi all! Here is more info concerning the patch that Roxio came out with to fix issues with Easy Cd-Creator 5 & W2K. Apparently not that great!!! http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/4/19161.html :mad:

Couldn't get my writer to write at 6x after installing ECDcreator 5, so went back to version 4 and now it still won't burn at 6x, just gives buffer underruns all the time although its fine at 4x. Never had any problems before i 'upgraded'. Thanks Roxio, great product :mad:

Don't just be pointing a finger at Roxio, I've had no problems burning at 16X with Plextor and Yamaha burners on my W2K box....

Sometimes it's the hardware combinations and/or other software on a system that causes the problems.

I think a lot of software companies release products before they have decent quality to them. Guess they want to hit the market with something new before there competitition does. Sadly I think we suffer with the consequences.
