I have a ISA NIC I got for $5 that was made by networth inc with an AT\LANTIC FP83905 chipset (national semiconductor corp.and NE2000 comp.)and I need to find the software that allows the IRQ to be changed b/c there are NO jumpers on it. It defaults to irq 15 and will only work correctly at this IRQ. I checked out national semicond. webpage and they state that these chips were software configurable. Did a little research and it looks like compaq bought networth in 1995 but their page has no info on the drivers for this card. Im trying to use this NIC with a 486 as a Linux firewall (GNATbox light).
Does anyone have one of these NICs or knows where to get the sw?
thanks,
brian
