I am having problems with my CD-ROM reading certain files. such as the ICD or AVI or what ever it takes to play games. At first the game would play, but only one player out of 8. we thought we needed more RAMS. so we added more. have 128 rams. and the game still stuck and the other players would not work at all. or you would start out with them and they would stick. we have tried everything. the teck with the game spent over an hour on the phone. and he came to the conclusion that it is the cd rom. it is haivng prob reasing those files. i emaield the company. who is DR tech and no answer, have tried calling them. but keep getting a answering maching that all techs are busy and then after a min or so a recording comes on to leave a message.. have left messages but no one gets back to me. am supose to see if they have a update avail for reading the files mentioned above. *sigh* we can not play any games now. it keeps saying that it is invalid format or apperas to be corrupt, and the last one said can not copy.. can not read from teh sorce or disk. that was when tried to copy form hard drive onto what ever my cousin did. LOL. he is a microsoft person. we have a drcd rom50x from digital research. can anyone help us? our email is mustangman58@hotmail.com thanks.
PS.. after we intalled the added RAMS. the game did the exact same thing. so we assumed that the game was bad. we took the game back and exchanged it. it will not play. nor about half of my husbands games. that is when we get the invalid formats and etc.. half the time it will not even load up on to the system, and when it does that is when we do get the invalid format.
