When I put a cd in, it stays in for a bit then pops out. When I push the in button it goes in then backout. When there is no CD it staus in. It is a 48X something...any ideas?

Check for viruses.
If system is clean replace the drive. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
