I replaced an ATX PS on a Packard Bell 640 a couple of months ago. So far it's been ok up till today when I got the call that the PC isn't booting up. Cust. said that in the last week it would go into suspend all by itself a few times, shut down by itself a few times now it won't boot at all. When I pull the cmos battery, it will start for about 4-5 seconds, then shut back down.
Another bad PS?
Incorrectly flashed BIOS?
Bad Motherboard?
Bad CPU? (Celeron 266)
Bad RAM?
I've had all peripherals pulled off the board and the PS.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Charlie
