I can't remember when I first started using Windrivers.com as my primary source of computing news and info. I just lately started using the forums. It seems that you have been having problems with updating the site due to "someone" not allowing you into the server, at least that was what the last problem was. Is there anything we can due to improve the situation? Is there anyone that we can e-mail to complain about the quality of the site since service911 took over. I love the site, and don't plan on leaving it but I hate to see it not updated.
we're here to help, just tell us what to do!!

Scotty
why not reset up the 4xT1's & the server in your rooom again and tell Service911 or whoever owns the Windrivers name to stick there service up their backsides??
Failing that give them their cheque back and sue them for defamation of your previous good character??
I have a suspicion that Service9111 bought Windrivers as they felt it was a threat to their own tech services. Now they have succeeded in screwing around with Windrivers they are now selling it on.
How much do you need Scott to buy it back????

I'd help if I could. I'd certainly email a complaint to whomever DriverGuy wanted me to complain to.
I'm sure it's out of his hands now. I'm assume that he gets paid the same no matter what happens. That's one advantage of someone else owning the company.
I am kind of curious about the difference between what DriverGuy sold WIndrivers.com for, and what Service 911 ended up selling it for.

Of course I miss and need Windrivers, but one thing is very odd. If we can post to the topic, why can't Scott post and tell us what is going on and what we could do to assist? I find this an interesting point. What do you folks think?

I would imagine Scott has some 'gag-order' type restrictions in his contract. Not to mention he's employed by [insert mystery name here] and how many of the rest of you could keep your jobs while publicly criticizing the boss? Good luck Scott. I'll hang in there until you're back in control or you let us know the site is dead.

I GUESS THE ANSWER IS RIGHT HERE
Service911 is an eSupport infrastructure services provider that helps companies reduce offline support costs, increase employee productivity, improve customer relationships, and better manage online relationships. Our comprehensive suite of Web-based support services is designed to provide real-time technical assistance for companies to support their customers and employees.
Our mission is to address one of the most significant obstacles facing e-commerce and Web-enabled "brick and mortar" businesses and organizations today: how-to provide real-time, cost-effective employee, customer, and member support that enables companies to focus on their core competencies.
Service911 delivers support solutions through a unique (patent pending) technology called a "Webskin". A Webskin is a service delivery platform that can be rapidly deployed and easily upgraded, while being transparently integrated into your existing online environment. No people to hire, no hardware to install, no custom programming, and no additional software to purchase. Just customized tech support without the hassle.

I just cleaned my computer room, There is plenty of space for a few server racks. I own the place and have no problem having the phone company run some new wires. I'm sure you guys wouldn't want to pull down the news over my DSL. Add me to the support list.

Hmmm. I called internet.com and asked for Peter Hegedus (HEG-a-dooss). Seems to be out of the office right now. From the voice on the mail system he seems to have an Indian accent. I got bounced around several times, no one knew where to send me. Even when I TOLD them I wanted a person to talk to they sent me to his voice mail.
I'm calling back

It seams to me that finding the owner of the site and comlpaining would be a waste of time. The site is not being maintained and your posts are here for the world to see. If anyone cared these posts wouldn't be here or we wouldn't have any complaints in the first place!
If TheLow1 is serious, why don't you guys get together and start over? You all can cut, past & Edit can't you!!!
If you did maybe the Driverguy would contact you and help out. Unless his employer controls what he does in his spare time or under an alias. I'd change my homepage!
I'm just a do it yourselfer with more time than money, but you have another for the list!
