Two years ago i went to an APlus 5day class. didn't know a thing about computers. the first few times i tried to get drivers i was amazed at how difficult it was to find them. My teacher had mentioned windrivers and i wrote it in my notebook. took a lot of looking to find it again, but when i did it was THE SINGLE MOST HELPFUL THING ANYONE HAD TOLD ME about fixing computers.
everything i learned after that was self taught. recently i felt like i might know enough to understand some of the posts in the forum, so i have been on here daily since then, and the forum is the SECOND MOST HELPFUL THING i found that taught me about fixing computers.
I don't know too much about what is going on with the site, and changes that may be coming but just in case something does happen i wanted to thank the DriverGuy and all the members of the forum.

Like techs, I am almost totally self taught when it comes to computer. When I first begain to gain interest in computers, it was mainly focused on sytem building. Thanks to winreviews, which I am said to see disappear sometimes and almost always have a lack of updates now, I learned a wealth of info which has helped me in the last three years. Also for the last two years I have been a daily visitor to windrivers and have enjoyed and recieved alot of help from this site. Thanks for all of the work.

Techs, from reading your posts I'd say that you know your stuff, even if you are kinda new http://www.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smile.gif I say keep plugging away and get all the experience you can - as long as you share the wealth on these forums...

I can't remember how long ago I stumbled across Windrivers.Com but I know that everyday since since I have come back and it has always been extremely helpful. I too am self taught and agree with Rkring1 that the forums are where I have learned a lot of obscure bugs and fixes, I only wish I started checking out the forums earlier.
Thanks for the great site,
Tony

I agree. I'm a new person to post, but am not a new person to the site. I have built all my own computers and repaired many for others that could not be repaired by others. This site has given me many answers and tips that allowed me to do that. Thanks to all and I mean all who have posted here with questions and solutions. And thanks to scot for having windrivers
