Seems some people think they will get more answers by posting in different catagories. Perhaps adding a note in the "Who can post" box will help stop this. Most who do this are new to the Forum.

Ditto to Aliendyne's post about replicated postings.

It only adds confusion as someone may post in one of the postings whilst someone else may post in the other.

Also means we have to post twice to help http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smile.gif Keyboards only have a limited lifespan http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smile.gif http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smile.gif

ditto on this and also to the questions being posted in the wrong forums... i.e.: my game gave me a BSOD being posted in the Hard Drive/IDE/SCSI Controller Drivers forum

Ditto too, and especially the users that ask for solutions to problems be e-mailed directly to them. Just defeats the purpose of the forums.

It's a dog eat dog world out there, and there isn't enough dog to go around. So get as much dog as you can, before all the dogs gone.

yeah... that sorta irks me too.. or they'll email me directly and ask me to help them one-on-one instead of in the forum...

Aside from this being kinda rude, you're right about it defeating the purpose of the forums....
