I have noticed the there is always one or two ppl who feel the need to hit post new topic instead of pose reply when ever you put a link to a forum thread on the main page. how about removing the post new topic button when reading a thread, and only have it available while in the root of that forum.

They post twice because they're button-clickin' cowboys. You get a double-post if you twice click "Submit Reply" quickly. I had that happen to me once (I deleted the 2nd "oops" post)... http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smilies/cwm6.gif

sometimes it's just accidental. I have a Microsoft wheel mouse that likes to double click when you lift your finger off the left button. you should see me trying to highlight some text or something! I first noticed it when I ordered a set of tires for my Satellite online with a credit card. I actually bought two! lol luckily I caught it and cancelled the second order before it shipped. you think that would prompt me to get a new mouse huh?
