I always find it really hard to move to the next page in a forum - the numbers for the pages are really small and they're (sort of) hidden out the way as well.
I always get confused with the "Next Forum" buttons at the bottom because these are below the page numbers and have a "previous" and "next" link along with arrows!
Would it be possible to have a "next page" and "prev page" link in there as well? Maybe just the arrows like the forum links, something like this:
< 1 2 3 4 5 >
Does that make sense?

move slightly to the right of the number thats the trick. If u click directly on the number it defaults to the first page.

I'll tell you what annoys the heck out of me ( and it's not actually a Forum problem) replying to someone in the forums, asking them a question so you can have more info to answer them with...then....forgetting where the hell that post was located to see if they answered you!!!!
Honestly, I may have more luck remembering these things AFTER I get Alzheimers!!!!
