What kind of bit do you on a dremel tool to cut out the holes for windows in a case?? I've heard its easier and quicker this way. Thanks!

First and foremost, windows are very simple to cut with a dremel... and it's fun to see sparks fly :D

You can use what is called a cut-off wheel. A metal mandrel is attached as a bit to the dremel and it has a tiny screw on top. Unscrew that screw and you can place a small cut off wheel on it and reattach the screw. Then you get to have some fun. Diamond cut off wheels are nice on everything except metal and they are rather pricey. Go with the fiberglass reinforced wheels. On larger holes you may end up going through a half a dozen wheels but that's the price you pay. They are relatively cheap and can be bought in tubes of 20. Have fun with your mods!

Well I have a mod done, and I'll be posting pictures soon, I cut the window out with a skil saw. But I wondered if their was a special bit used to cut the metal, not realizing it was just the carbide type wheels. Thanks!! :D :D

Note:- When cutting metal use some sort of oil based lubricant, such as Vaseline. This will make the cutting easier and cut down on the sparks.
