I have an Abit KT7-RAID mobo, and I think my Northbridge heatsink fan is dying. It makes weird noises, slows down very slow sometimes, and is making the "secondary CPU" read 40+ degrees.
But I'm having trouble finding a fan of this size. Where should I go to buy one? Should I run my computer at all until I get that fan replaced?
Thanks

Does your MoBo have any termal sensor?? You might run it making sure that the CPU temperature doesn't go above the treshold.

Check out www.sidewindercomputers.com (http://www.sidewindercomputers.com) as they have a great fan selection, plus various different sizes, hopefully they will have what you are looking for! Good Luck!

I just ordered a fan, thanks for the site. Just curious - at what temperature will my chips get damaged?
