I've recently bought a 450 MHz AMD procesor and I have an VIA MVP3 LuckyTech MB.
But AMD procesor works at 2,4v and the mainbord supports only 2,2v and 2,5v.
At 2,2 the procesor works weel but sometimes the system freeze and I don't know why.
Should I change the core at 2,5v or stay at 2,2v because a new mainboard I'll bought when I'll get a K7.

If your CPU has a core voltage of 2.4 you can run it at 2.5 volts. Keep an eye on the CPU temp. Make sure that you have a large heat sink and fan and use heat sink silicone between the CPU and the heat sink. This will help keep the CPU in the proper tempature operating range.

I've had the same problem, both settings cause lockups. I've found that a lot of manufacturers have supplemented the core settings in their manual "online" to include the 2.4 core setting. Also check out bios updates for the board.
GOOD LUCK!
