[RESOLVED] Lost connection after re-boot

I lose My USB connection every time I re-boot My computer. I have to unplug the adapter, then plug it back in. Using a Linksys ethernet adapter (with the latest drivers) on @home. Any suggestions ?

Linksys Ethernet adapters can be problematic.
Try:
Clean up Device manager in SAFE MODE.
Check for IRQ conflict.
Update BIOS if earlier than 6/98
Linksys adapters do NOT run well on non-Intel USB host controllers
