Norton utils 2001

just had a situation of someone asking me (by phone) about some aspects of norton utils 2001,

so i say ring me back in 10 mins , i,ll load the crap on my spare drive (9x) and talk u thru it....(as if i,m gonna se that crap on 2k)

tried to use it and a box appears saying summot like "out of date" ,,,,,what the ****!!!!.

anyway i just wound my date back to 2001 and loaded it, then went and did the updates, and reset to 2002 ,,,,,,it runs perfect (?)

had i have bought that on dec 31st i would have been pissed!

and yes its guenuine.

Anti virus' are only supposed to last 2 years I believe.

Norton utils (the part i,m taltin about) is a suite of diagnostic progs not a-virus ,,,,,,,PLUS its still not two years is it?

Ive just loaded norton system works(one before 2001)with no problems. Cant understand why its done that.
