Is there any way to alter/edit the 'path' (i.e. folder info) of an already zipped file?

MacGyver August 31st, 2001, 10:10 PM I once asked the developers at WinZip this very question. The answer is an unfortunate NO - however you can unzip the entire contents of the archive into a single directory by unchecking "Use folder names" in the unzip dialog of WinZip. RenKo August 31st, 2001, 10:53 PM It was not so much to avoid unzipping the contents into the predifined directories, but more so that I could set the extract path(s) for the contents of a new archive without having to create the directories themselves before zipping. If you see what I mean. Thanks for your advice though! windrivers.com
