I am running win2k pro with 2 HDD's... one with win98 and one with win2k pro. I removed the win98 drive (2nd-master) to use in another system (mom's computer...her's went bad) and when I try to boot my win2k pro system I get an error message stating that the swap file is missing or corrupt. I manually set the swap file to only use the c: drive, win2K drive. Does win2k do something strange with a swap file ie spanning accross drives or something? I can't figure this out!
Any help would be appriciated!

Thanks,
JKS

Did you check to see how your swap file is defined? Right-mouse-click on My Computer, select Properties, then select the Advanced tab. Select the Performance Options command button, then under "Virtual memory" select Change. The location of your swap file should be shown there. I suppose it's possible to have it span several drives. If there are problems with your swap file, this is the place to fix it. Good luck...
