i just put a PC togeather and my cd-rom will not show up in windows nor will my floppy drive when i switch my cables on my floppy drive upside down my cd rom will work. also i have the 5EYMA v.1+ mother board and a 20x toshiba cd rom. as my pc boots up it shows that it is reading the cd rom but after that there is nothing. and i cant install my drivers because of the floppy problem. what can i do?

i have a AMD K6-2 4oo Mhz
mother board bus clocked at 100Mhz
and 128 mb ram everything apears to be attached correctly. PLEASE help me thank you

Mike,
The Floppy cable is asymetrical so it must be plugged in correctly on BOTH ends. So flipping the cable on one end may not fix your problem. (I know I've been there!)
