Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : CD Burning Software Orangemon1 April 6th, 2001, 04:02 PM What programs do you guys use to make cds. I'm mainly interested in bin/cue files. Kenteth420 April 6th, 2001, 08:12 PM For bin and cue files I use cdrwin you can download a demo that will only let you burn at 1x until registered at http://www.goldenhawk.com/ SubZero April 6th, 2001, 09:52 PM I'd agree. CDRWIN doesn't crash on my 2k box, and it ran faster and more stable than EZ-CD Crapper. I have nothing against Roxio's EZ CD Creator, however, I've made about 40 coasters with it. PEZ_B0y April 7th, 2001, 12:00 AM no use fireburner 1.60 which i belive you can get at www.fireburner.com (http://www.fireburner.com) the most stable one i have ever used. tha 4NiK8R April 7th, 2001, 09:36 AM I use Nero Burning ROM. I have had no issues with it. I like to be able to set as much RAM as I want to Cache. I usually set the entire 700mb of an 80min cd to cache in RAM. I have yet to make a coaster :) Ah, the wonders of having 1gig of memory  Orangemon1 April 7th, 2001, 10:14 AM They pop up and say aspi not installed or something like that. What shoudl i do? Kenteth420 April 7th, 2001, 05:04 PM GO here, http://www.goldenhawk.com On the lefthand side of the website is a list of things on the site, choose download area, Then click on the link to download adaptec aspi drivers. Install and you shouldnt have any problemsms, I had to install them too for my burner to work also. cwpc April 9th, 2001, 12:10 PM I use both Nero 5.0.4.0 and Clone CD, and Disk Juggler. All seem to work ok KINGofBLEH April 9th, 2001, 05:21 PM CDRwin all the way, baby. It has reduced my coaster count to 2 since beginning of Feb. Avoid acraptec DirectCD like the plague. Too many bad burns to count! Sowulo April 9th, 2001, 05:29 PM Easy CD Creator Deluxe v5 16x burns on 8x media--never a coaster... Kenteth420 April 9th, 2001, 06:46 PM He wants software that will burn .bin files. Most of the programs mentioned dont support burning .bin files. Orangemon1 April 9th, 2001, 06:49 PM Whne you download the aspi drivers it says there is no previous version to upgrade PEZ_B0y April 10th, 2001, 07:44 AM actually Kenteth420 there are only two programs I know of that burn BIN files and they are both listed here. 1.fireburner (best IMO) 2.cdrwin byteme_1997 April 13th, 2001, 05:46 PM I too am trying to find ASPI drivers for Win 2k if anyone can help out please do. Thank you Mike  ilovetheusers May 1st, 2001, 09:36 PM Nero is workin' swell for me on 2K. CobraTekMax May 1st, 2001, 10:15 PM I like CDR-Win myself. Easy CD Creator is good for (almost) idiot-proof burning though. windrivers.com
