Send a screenshot showing your Netware's server uptime to Novell. If your server has been running non-stop the longest, you win a brand new Palm VII.
I don't have any hope of winning this, I had to bounce my server two weeks ago...

That is so stupid of novel. We all know how easy that can be faked. Some guy will probably submit a screenshot of a server that has been running since the early 1700's lol.

I would suppose that they would have a way to verify the winner's claim is genuine and not forged as you say. The price of even a Palm VII as a prize is cheap compared to the amount of publicity this could draw.

Sheesh, where did they get those servers from???
We had to reboot our groupwise server every other day, and our production servers abended at least once every 2 weeks. It was Netware 5 though...

They would have to be 3.x servers doing only file and print serving. Any other application (like internet proxy or email for example) would require periodic upgrades (and reboots). Not to mention service packs, which for version 4 there have been nine!
