[RESOLVED] White Screen on Toshiba LapTop

Just had a laptop brought in its a Toshiba
Satelite 4070 CDT when it is switched on screen goes white and stays wait its ok when on monitor but when you flick back to lap screen it goes white ! Any ideas

The ribbon cable between the LCD panel and mainboard may be loose or damaged.

sounds like a bad fl Inverter. If you know what one is and how to test it, check it out. Otherwise, send it to a repair depot and dont try to check it yourself,cause those things put out like 3000v.
