But you have a Notebook so I can't be sure if these things will work for you. http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_modItemList.jsp Go here for the manual. to find the Jumper. ------------------ http://www3.sympatico.ca/corey.reynolds/avatars/cdnflag2.gif "What works for One person May not work for Another" God Is My Judge dLagace=DANIMAL [This message has been edited by dlagace (edited September 30, 2001).] cc_penguin September 30th, 2001, 05:09 PM There is no jumper on the Toshibas. To remove a password you have to have a parallel loopback that has some of the pins looped together. I have the pinout at work and Ill post back Monday if you like (that is if I can find it) All ya gotta do is turn the machine on with the loopback and it will remove the password. ------------------ http://www.supagraphix.homestead.com/files/july4flag1.gif Damned Angel October 1st, 2001, 05:57 PM good thing I never threw out the paper with the pinout on it. 2-32 1-13 31-10 36-11 14-12 put that on the parallel port and start the machine holding the esc key. this will get you into the bios and let you remove the password. ------------------ <a href="http://www.georgecarlin.com/" target="_blank"> "we're all amateurs, it's just that some of us are more professional about it than others"</a> ----George Carlin cc_penguin October 1st, 2001, 06:11 PM Thanks Damned Angel.
