I have found that using the foam packing material (not the peanuts) cleans lcds pretty good. Platypus November 5th, 2001, 12:27 PM Regular glass cleaners like Windex are likely to have ammonia and uncertain alcohols in them. The anti-glare treatments on some desktop screens are likely to be affected by them too. Optical cleaners produced for camera & spectacle lenses I think should be safe. JungleMan1 November 5th, 2001, 05:26 PM call me nuts but I always take a damp washcloth, just damp, not dripping (gotta wring it out) and wipe down the screen. works fine. Darren Wilson November 5th, 2001, 05:35 PM I just do what I do to my glasses!!! Breath on the screen then wipe off with lint free cloth. Works a charm (even on sticky toddler fingerprints!!!) windrivers.com
