[RESOLVED] DVD; Bad firmware update - Drive not functioning

I have a peice of #$%& EPO DVD ROM Drive Model # 8210. I was having trouble with some DVD titles and decided to update the firmware with an update provided by the EPO web site. I encountered an error at the end of the process and now the drive is dead!!! And to make matters worse the firmware must have been partially updated. Now the firmware update program says I don't need to update. Is there a way to clear the firmware data for a DVD drive???? Any help would be greatly appriciated
