does anybody have the application CD for windows 2000 that came with the Sony vaio model number PCG-FX120K

Sony will not give them away, but you can purchase the recovery cd disks. Call 1-800-488-7669, Sony's part warehouse.

Sony had them available on a FTP site for a while, it was password protected, but for some stupid reason they left an account called 'guest' with a password of 'guest' well, i found it, linked to it, and made a site so people didn't have to buy the cd's, sony gave me a cease and desist order (left the ftp up) and I stopped, the ftp isn't up anymore, but if you scan there japanese laptop site, i'm sure you'll find it (i did)
