[RESOLVED] on the road

I have a customer who will be traveling in a few days and he wants to be able to get his email and run his business from his laptop.
He has a Toshiba Satellite and a Motorola phone.What else does he need?
As you can see I know zilch about this.
Any help would be appreciated

sprint pcs offers a wireless modem at <a href="http://www.sprintpcs.com" target="_blank">www.sprintpcs.com</a> and they even offer the service to go with it :p but the pricing of it is insane! especially for a 14.4 speed lol..
