Ok im wondering if it is possible to upgrade from 95 to ME using just the ME CD. When trying to do this the ME setup asks for the 98 directory. if i give it the 95 directory will it still work?

You should have no problems updating from win 95, but personally you should do a clean install of ME. You'll get much less headaches, believe me!! ;)

I agree, and to do this just make sure that you have all of teh drivers for your system backed up and then format your drive and restart with the ME cd in the drive (that is if you can boot from cd) and then the ME setup will begin and ask for your qualifying product, you then put the 95/98 disk in and it will read it for a few seconds telling you that it is verifying you for the update. It will then prompt you for the ME cd again, insert it and you are ready to go. It should finish the rest of the install on its own
