I am trying to play a game. But every time I do it gives me an error. The error says no mmsystem006 driver installed. How do a fix this. Someone help me please. I tried downloading a mmsystem.dll file but it did not help. thank you for any help.

hmmm...dunno.

On an old sis 530 system, (built-in vid, sound, modem) it would only play 1 sound at a time; mp3's or wav's or a game. If i had winamp goin, tried to play a wav, it'd say like "mmsystem004: the specified device is in use. Please try this application again later when the device is free."

My system is new it is a HP pavilion intell celeron 700mhz 30 gbt hard drive, cdw 64mb ram with 13 mb for 3d graphics. The game is a game for win 98 or 95 so maybe that has something to do with it. Not sure. I can play any other game just fine. I have Diablo II and it works good. Thanks for any help that you might have.
